bnt Riga helds workshop on consumer claims and product liability
bnt attorneys-at-law in cooperation with the Riga Graduate School of Law, the German Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Latvia invites to the workshop „Meet the Experts: Consumer Claims, Product Guarantees and Product Liability in the Baltic States and Poland”.
The workshop aims at foreign and local product manufacturers and producers, importers, exporters, distributors and retailers.
Date and Venue: 30 June 2011, 15:00, at Riga Graduate School of Law, Strēlnieku iela 4 k-2, Rīga.
At the workshop Ms. Dominika Wagrodzka, attorney-at-law and partner of bnt Warsaw, will get you acquainted with legal issues that the producer or importer of goods has to deal with in the EU countries and particularly in Poland with regard to the product liability and guarantees. The program will include such topics as scope of liability, parties involved, reduction of risks connected with product liability and differences between warranty regulations and product liability. Besides, the “Product Guarantees and Product Liability Survey 2011: the Baltics and Poland”, published by bnt attorneys-at-law, will be presented.
