This year, 14 280 students, enrolled at 58 universities and colleges in 107 different disciplines, participated in the largest career study in the Czech Republic. Respondents have been giving grades to employees in five categories, depending on their chosen major – business, engineering, IT, natural sciences, and the law. This year, two new categories were added: healthcare/medicine, and the humanities.
Law students stayed true to their preferences from yesteryear: seven of the Top Ten ranks are again occupied by government institutions and the public sector. In fact, the first three were again taken by the same institutions – the courts, the state prosecutor's office, and the ministry of the interior. Also nominated to the ranking are 11 corporations, 22 commercial law firms, and 4 advisory firms.
Compared to last year, the Prague office of bnt again improved its position by one rank, and is now listed as 42nd in the overall ranking within the category Law, and 18th (i.e., among the Top Twenty) among law firms.
